Terms of use

1. Provider and acceptance

MakoSet is provided by VORREI GROUP S.R.L., Piața Victoriei 5, Timișoara, Romania, identifier RO52017137. Contact: info@vorreigroup.com.

By creating a personal account, using a gym code, accepting an invite or using MakoSet you declare that you have the capacity required to accept these terms. If you use the service for a gym or other organization, you declare that you are authorized to act on its behalf.

The service is intended for adult users or for users enrolled by the gym with the parental or guardian authorizations required by law.

2. How MakoSet works

MakoSet is a web service with four distinct paths: individual client, gym client, personal trainer and gym owner. It is used to manage personal training and programs or to organize gyms, roles, clients and sessions. Each role has different permissions: the user must use only the area and data assigned to them.

The gym is responsible for the accuracy of invited people, roles, pairings and programs entered. Trainers and clients are responsible for the information they record and for protecting their credentials.

Artificial intelligence features, such as photo comparison, are optional and do not constitute medical advice, diagnosis or clinical assessment.

3. Account and permitted use

You must provide accurate data, keep credentials confidential and report suspicious access to us without delay. You may not share a personal account, attempt to access unauthorized data, bypass limits or controls, interfere with the service, introduce harmful code or use MakoSet for unlawful activities.

Content, programs and data entered remain the responsibility of who provides them. You grant MakoSet only the technical authorization needed to store, process and show them to people entitled to deliver the service.

4. Health, safety and training

The gym and trainer must prepare programs appropriate to the person and to their professional qualifications. The user must stop if they feel pain, dizziness, breathing difficulty or other symptoms and contact a healthcare professional or emergency services when needed.

Technical exercise guidance is educational and general. In pregnancy, or with conditions, injuries, recent surgery or doubts about fitness, the user must obtain an individual assessment from a qualified healthcare professional before starting or changing training.

Amounts, frequencies and times for protein, supplements, hydration, meals and other routines are chosen by the user. MakoSet does not set doses or therapies, does not verify product composition and does not replace the label or advice received from a doctor or other qualified professional.

Check-ins on energy, sleep, stress, soreness or pain and weight or measurement records serve only as a personal diary: they do not produce diagnoses, fitness clearances, clinical alarms or automatic program changes.

The gallery and AI photo check-up are optional, private and reserved for adults. The comparison may describe possible visible variations only when pose, light, distance and clothing are comparable. It does not measure fat or muscle mass, does not recognize identity, does not judge the body, does not detect conditions or injuries and does not replace professional measurements or assessments. The user must upload only their own content, without nudity, third parties, audio or backgrounds that reveal unnecessary information.

The rest timer, notifications and any audio cues are support tools: the user remains responsible for attention to the environment, equipment and their own condition.

5. Google, YouTube, Spotify and other external services

Connecting external accounts is optional and happens with the provider’s official authorization. MakoSet may show available playlists or players, but content, account, playback, subscriptions and territorial limits depend on Google, YouTube, Spotify or the other provider concerned.

You must respect the provider’s terms and hold the rights needed over the content played. A change in the provider’s APIs, policies or features may limit or interrupt the integration without MakoSet being able to prevent it.

6. Trials, plans and payments

For the personal plan and gym plans, price, length of any trial, capacity, renewal and commercial terms are those shown to the payer before activation or purchase. Payments are processed by Stripe. Any taxes, invoices and payment methods are handled according to the information presented in the related flow.

MakoSet promotional coupons are personal, single-use and valid until the date shown at activation. They do not require a card, do not generate charges and do not start automatic renewals. At expiry, access to plan features may be limited, while account, programs and history remain stored under this policy; the user freely decides whether to activate a later plan.

Included features may depend on the active plan. Expiry, suspension or failure to activate the plan may limit access, subject to applicable obligations and the notices shown in the service.

Checkout takes place on Stripe. MakoSet does not store full card payment data: Stripe processes payment information under its own terms and policies.

7. Intellectual property

Software, interface, trademarks, graphics and original MakoSet content belong to VORREI GROUP S.R.L. or their respective licensors. The right to use the service is personal, limited, non-exclusive and revocable under these terms; it does not authorize copying, resale, reverse engineering or exploitation not allowed by law.

8. Availability and liability

We work to keep MakoSet available and secure, but we do not promise continuous or error-free operation. Maintenance, network issues, device incompatibility, provider unavailability or events outside our reasonable control may occur.

To the extent permitted by law, MakoSet is not liable for medical or professional decisions, inadequate programs entered by third parties, misuse of equipment, external provider content or interruptions, or unforeseeable indirect damage. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow to exclude, nor the mandatory rights of consumers.

9. Suspension, closure and deletion

We may limit or suspend an account in case of serious breach, security risk, unlawful use, non-payment of the plan or an obligation imposed by an authority, adopting measures proportionate to the circumstances.

To close the account, delete data or disconnect Google, YouTube or Spotify you can use the controls available in the service or write to info@vorreigroup.com. Deletion follows the times and exceptions stated in the Privacy policy.

10. Applicable law and changes

These terms are governed by Romanian law, without prejudice to mandatory rules and the forum recognized for consumers by applicable law. Before escalating a dispute we invite you to contact us to seek a solution.

We may update the terms when the service, laws or providers change. The date at the top identifies the current version; for material changes we will provide, when appropriate, a notice in the service. Continuing to use MakoSet after they take effect implies acceptance of the new terms within the limits allowed by law.
